Ideally suited for use in patients where difficult
intubation may occur. “Trupti” simplifies the elevation
of the epiglottis and exposure of the larynx, thereby
reducing the force employed.
Applications include situations where forward
displacement of the larynx, forward or prominent
upper teeth, backward displacement of the tongue,
enlarged tongue, decreased neck movement, cervical
spine injuries, decreased mouth opening & recessive
mandible occur. |

Is a modification of Macintosh blade that allows the individual to
perform laryngoscopy and intubation with less risk of hypoxia. Built
into the Macintosh blade is a tube that permits delivery of oxygen
and other gas mixtures during intubation, adding an extra
advantage to an already widely used blade. |

A modification to Macintosh laryngoscopbel ade size 3. The anterior
flange has been reduced to decrease the force upon the maxillary
incisors and to prevent damage to the teeth. A channel in the blade
provides a means through which an endotracheal tube may be
inserted afterv isualising the cordsA.v ailable only in one size. |

The Wisconsin blade with a straight spatula and a flange that
expands slightly towards the distal portion of the blade. This feature
increases the visual field and reduces the possibility of trauma
during intubation. The distal portion of the blade is wider and

The Phillips blade integrates the preferred straight Jackson blade
design with the curved distal tip Miller design providing greater
visibility and almost direct line approach to the trachea during
intubation. Unique lamp mounting provides deep illumination
downwards and inward, while the low profile flange reduces the
risks of oral damage. |
